Midlife & Identity
Depth Therapy for Midlife,
Meaning & Identity
Many adults reach a point where the strategies that once worked—achievement, responsibility, staying productive—no longer create a sense of fulfillment.
A Natural Developmental Transition
Life may look successful from the outside, yet internally there can be anxiety, restlessness, loss of joy, or a growing question: Is this all there is?
In depth psychology, this stage is understood as a natural developmental transition rather than a failure or crisis. The first half of life is often oriented around building a career, relationships, and identity. The second half invites something different: reflection, integration, and a search for deeper meaning and authenticity.
My Approach
This depth-oriented approach is informed by Jungian psychology and the process of individuation—the lifelong movement toward becoming more fully yourself. Together, we explore the inner patterns that shape your life: anxiety that persists without clear cause, chronic self-doubt despite competence, identity shifts, burnout, and the quiet sense that something meaningful is missing.
Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, this work asks deeper questions:
Who This Work Is For
Many of the adults I work with are capable, insightful, and outwardly successful—but internally feel disconnected from meaning, energy, or a sense of inner coherence. Depth therapy provides a space to slow down, listen inwardly, and begin integrating the emotional, psychological, and existential dimensions of life that often get pushed aside.
The goal is not to become someone new. It is to become more fully who you are—and to live with greater clarity, purpose, and aliveness.
